In order to carry the LEDified brand, we ensure that each product undergoes rigorous testing that meets and exceeds the requirements as set by the various Australian and International Standards.

Additionally, most LEDified products are approved for installation under the VEET and IPART government energy efficiency schemes. As such they also fulfil the mandatory reporting and compliance requirements set by these schemes.

To maintain the quality of our products, LEDified carries out a 40-point check on every batch of product produced.

We ensure that each batch complies with (but not limited to):

  • The standardised bill of materials to ensure there is no variance in components
  • The safety report of the tested product
  • Post production testing as a part of the Final Quality Control testing procedure
  • Verification of power consumption to ensure the product is within allowable tolerances
  • Lighting efficacy checks for drift from specified requirements
Following a detailed supplier qualification process during their on boarding, our suppliers are subject to a regular audit and review cycle that occurs at a frequency based on numerous factors related to the particular product they supply.

We also ensure that the laboratories used in testing are from a pre-approved list accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) or the International equivalent.

As required by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), LEDified holds on record reports and compliance documents on all our products.
