Case Study – National Golf Club

One of the major areas the team at The National Golf Club wanted to improve was light spread and uniformity around the facility, as there were spots of high and low illumination, particularly in the outdoor areas. Management felt that, the lighting conditions did not befit the exclusive nature of the venue. Another major factor in the decision to upgrade was to ensure the safety of patrons, particularly in the car park, which had previously poor lighting levels and high maintenance costs.
As a solution, LEDifieds commercial lighting specialists recommended a comprehensive LED retrofit of the car park, common areas and offices, with the aim of increasing light quality, and reducing energy consumption.
500 lights have been upgraded to LED, and the results have been spectacular. The car park is now well lit, allowing patrons to navigate safely at night. The common areas have benefited from a superior CRI, but most importantly, energy consumption has been slashed by $52,000 per annum.
